Publisher's Synopsis
The book is intended to provide knowledge to children on total knee replacements. When my mother had a hip and knee replacement, I could not find any type of children's book to provide to my daughter that could explain what her grandmother had experienced. Being in the field of hip and knee replacements, I decided to write this book to explain the basics in order to help a child understand the concept of a hip and knee replacement. Due to the increase in total hip and knee replacements each year, I feel this book will be very valuable for those needing these procedures to explain the experience to their children or grandchildren.
