Publisher's Synopsis
This collection of poetry and aphorisms represents an incomplete representation of early creative expressions by a soul-seeking American of color who began his primary education under U.S. apartheid and its accustomed systemic and associated constraints. Be that as it was and is, it presented and still presents incredible opportunities for deep human understanding, wisdom... and freedom in the highest sense of the term. The verses in this first volume were written from 1967 to 1985. Selected others written since 1985 will be offered soon, and will hopefully be a testament to how the love of the One Divine elevates and illuminates.
