This book presents a new, multi- and interdisciplinary approach to gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and Barrett's esophagus that reflects the latest advances in understanding of the disease. The role of each of the available diagnostic techniques, including endoscopy, histopathology, esophageal manometry, reflux monitoring, and EndoFLIP assessment, is carefully explained.
