Figure 2 is a curved blade for marking the back of the garment and curved lines on the outer edge of L is formed. The scale M is for measuring and shap ing the back of the arm's-eye. The numera'ls 11 to 16 on this scale M indicate different sizes of bust, the numerals 1 to 4 of the same scale are for splicing round back. The part Q of scale M represents different arm-sizes. The letters I and C stand for children, the letter M for misses, and the letter L for ladies.
