These are illogical rules and directives that lead us to such nonsensical beliefs like racism, misogyny, religious exclusivity, homophobia, etc. and unfortunately, throughout history, these beliefs have led us to inflict much pain, suffering and even worse, on our fellow man.

The symbolism is obvious. The novel tells the story of a very interesting man on a unique island, It moves easily around the landscape and offers the reader a meaningful journey, both physical and mental, with a few surprising turns and twists.
