Publisher's Synopsis
Madison Palmer, along with her 5-year-old daughter Sophie, is hoping to escape her past life in the city and make a fresh start in the quiet little town of Port Belle. She moves into her cousin's century-old Victorian rental house on the outskirts of town. The townsfolk give the house a wide berth, for there is something not quite right about the old place - "Has a bad history," the locals say. It isn't long before strange things start happening.
