The complete text, including instructions, illustrations, and charts, can be accessed by the table of contents or the index, then printed out. The Patient Teaching Guides may be personalized for individual patients. Many guides include sections to be completed with specific instructions before they are printed for the patients. all guides can be handed out with a special instructions sheet that allows you to add pertinent information such as patient name, provider name, phone number, special instructions, and follow-up care, as well as a patient signature line to document that you included patient education in your care.
