Triana is an industrial neighborhood of Seville, Spain, famous for its blue glazed tiles. The industry dates back to Roman times. Everyone worked in the factory, including Carlos. Life was hard, but rich in love and faith. Carlos helps his grandmother and Celia, the gypsy flamenco dancer, to escape the massacre in the Triana neighborhood by the fascists. They find sanctuary in a great hacienda with an American artist, who teaches Carlos about painting, architecture and the human spirit.
