This new collection of old Bute, compiled by Graham Twaddle, is a belated follow-up to his 'Old Bute' published over fifteen years ago, reprinted many times and still selling well. It is an entirely different selection of material including the quirky and unusual subjects such as the 1928 GPO Telephones staff, the operating theatre at Mount Stuart when it was a war hospital, Straad Post Office and the notorious Skeoch Woods as well as street scenes and social history photographs across the island with Rothesay itself naturally and also Ettrick Bay, Kerrycroy, Port Bannatyne and St. Ninian's Bay.
