Located on the flood safe prairie, it is the largest community of several small settlements north of Marksville Louisiana in Ward Two. Communities include: Blue Town, Gum Ridge, Par en Haut, Riddle, Johnson, Moncla, Magnolia, Hickory Hill, Avoyelles, Red River.
