New Cambridge Mathematics aims to provide stimulating materials for young children that will help them to become confident and successful at mathematics. The activities are designed to be used with the range of ability found in primary classrooms, to support national curricula throughout the UK, as well as, being interesting and fun. Module 3 is for children aged 6 to 7. Book 2 is the second short (32-page) textbook in Module 3. It is designed to introduce children to the use of a textbook. As in Book 1, the characters Netty, McMagic and his dog Nevis and cat Kit, appear throughout, asking relevant questions and providing hints and useful information.
