The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), being such a monumental undertaking, has undoubtedly aroused a great deal of attention and controversy among members of the global community. This research contains to the core idea of diverse national interests throughout its analysis of the BRI in order to get a new perspective. It has been determined whether contemporary trade theories are pertinent and appropriate for the purpose of explaining a substantial international commerce initiative known as the Belt and Road Initiative. This research is to investigate the BRI project and, where appropriate, employ contemporary ideas to conduct an analysis of the BRI.
