This text presents information on water and wastewater from eight countries in the Asian region, Australian companies, teaching institutions, consultants and CSIRO Australia. It is the result of the first UNIDO workshop in Australia, and presents 28 papers on practical and theoretical aspects of physio-chemical and biological processes involved in water and wastewater treatment, and the treatment of residues and sludges and their disposal. All the technologies described in this book emphasize safe and efficient ecological processes.
