It talks about love, passion, adventure and learning.Dicky Jackoff is the author's pen name. He says the title of the book is dark because it is from a good kid's point of view. The readers are expected to be mature (not less than 16 or 18 depending the country and state). It is meant to help the younger audiences understand some of the unavoidable vices of modern society, and the older ones (those who fall within the age gap 27 - 29) navigate their social lives and expectations. The author sees the book as a game changer because he had seen and experienced a lot of the musings in it as a teenager (like most urban kids). According to him, "Despite the dangers involved in having young people exposed to such wild things it brought out the best in us. It made us understand love better than we were taught. And now that I'm older it is my moral obligation to illuminate the path for the younger ones." The theme of the first deluxe version:
Misadventures of the late 20s Vol.1 is Understanding love. Hence, this special edition is basically an introduction of the characters to allow space for the audience (readers) to ask questions and interact with the author.
The author also hints that It will take some of his deeply understanding fans to really appreciate the level of intimacy he is creating with these stories and the passion that would be learned and later on experienced by couples who read together or bond over the contents.
