The chairman of this committee had such a conference at Philadelphia, was kindly received by the Assembly's Committee, and warmly thanked for the informa tion gathered by Synod's Committee.
The subsequent history of this movement is known to all members Of Synod; how that the matter was considered favorably by the General Assembly; a large and representative Committee appointed; a report presented at the Assembly of 1904; and the fact that it is now in printed form and to be secured from our Board of Publication.
