Excerpt from Minutes of the General Association of Massachusetts at Their Meeting in Taunton, June 1831: With the Narrative of the State of Religion, and the Pastoral Address
The subject of representation to Foreign Bodies referred at the last meeting, to the several district Associations for advice, was indefinitely postponed.
Messrs. Snell, Packard, and Fay were appointed a Commit tee to distribute the reports of Foreign Bodies.
The Association heard Rev. Mr. Orr, Agent of the African Education Society, on the subject of Slavery and Colonization.
