Publisher's Synopsis
According to Thomas Edison, "Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls, and looks like work." I have to submit to you that there is nothing worse than missing an opportunity that could have changed your life. I also make bold to say that opportunity abounds everywhere on earth. It does not matter what nation of the world you live in; whether you reside amidst the elite of the developed countries or your abode is with the basest of people in the developing nations; there exists an opportunity for you to change your status quo to what you have always wished it to be. As Thomas Edison has quipped, most people miss this opportunity because it is disguised as work.It is disheartening though to observe that many in need of such opportunities will not take time to assess the nature of the supposed 'work' that is involved in the opportunity. Without assessment of the opportunity, there is no possibility of discovering the gold in it. A wise man once said, if you leave your life to chance, you do not stand a chance. Chance in this saying refers to luck. Personally, I do not believe in luck. Luck is a mirage. I once heard John Maxwell say that the more you work hard at what you do, the luckier you become. I strongly believe that everyone is absolutely responsible for the outcome of his or her life. The opportunity presented in this book might be somewhat different than what has crossed your path before; even so I am confident that just like it has changed the financial status quo of my many mentees and seminar attendees, it will not leave you on the same level financially. Of course, that is if you decide to build your gateway to success on the wings of the opportunity so presented. Many reputable online and offline stores you celebrate today have thrived because they maximized the use of this opportunity. A lot more of them have gone ahead to build brands that are now formidable and making social impact using the ideas communicated through this book. It is not rocket science, and don't get it twisted, it is also not the ABC. It places a demand on you. It has the potential to help in the realization of your dreams and goals. It will deliver to the level of the passion with which you engage it.Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed no hope at all. Thomas Edison once more put it better when he said that "Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up." Permit me to tweak this saying a little by saying, "Many of life's successes are people who decided to try again, one more time without the considering giving up."These categories of people are those we read about and are excited about. Theirs are the stories of grass to grace that gives us hope to try again. Perhaps this is a clarion call for you to try once again like one of my protégé, Kelvin Peters.
