Publisher's Synopsis
This book is an expanded version of the "Midwest Field Geologist's Reference Book", which is still available, but won't be much longer. This "deluxe version" has all the information as the 1st edition and more. It contains 30 more pages and several new sections. The largest added section is a step by step guide on how to plot planes and lineations on a stereonet, for field use. Bowen's reaction series was also added. Geologic map symbols were also added. Chart updates were made, if relevant. Scale bars were added on the very first page. Like the 1st edition, the deluxe edition is also in black and white to keep the price down.
