Publisher's Synopsis
MEET THE BARN GIRLS AND JOIN THEM IN THEIR FIRST ADVENTUREAndrea, Baily, and Paige are barn girls; they exchange hours of working at a riding stable to help pay for their lessons in dressage, stadium jumping and cross country. In this first in a series of books about these young girls, they are assisting with another day camp for beginning riders. The stable owner and her neighbor have a problem: hay and oats are missing from their barns. Andrea, Baily, and Paige help the barn owners solve the mystery while helping to make life much better for two new friends. Look for book two in this new series: Tough Break I want this in italics so I have put these characters in front of and behind my italicized text. From the author: I have written several health books for adults so my book writing experience has been non-fiction and biographical. I also teach a writing class for adults who want to write about their own lives. However, after sharing an incredible experience with my granddaughter, Julia, and a small herd of wild stallions, I decided to write about girls and horses. Julia and I have outlined a large number of books for this series, and you will be able to read about the wild stallions in another, much longer book that I am working on for older teens and adults. While the stories in the Barn Girls series are inspired by Julia%u2019s general experiences, all the stories are completely fictional and all the people are figments of our imagination. I hope you enjoy Midnight Visitor and that you will look forward to reading the second book in the series, Tough Break. It will be released soon. Each book in the Barn Girls series will feature a different adolescent artist. If you are between ten and nineteen, like to draw horses and people and would like to be featured go to our website at www.midnightvisitor.com for more information.
