"Thanks to Arts Council England's 'Libraries Opportunities for Everyone Innovation Fund', Middlesbrough Libraries have worked with a variety of different local groups of all ages to create a compelling narrative about our town. During 2017 and 2018, sixty people took part in a series of photography and creative writing skills workshops. This enabled participants to create a series of images and narrative which they felt reflected their local community. Creative Writing tutor Natalie Scott and photography tutor Mark Williams supported participants in producing striking photographs from around the town, which in turn inspired a diverse variety of writing."--Back cover.
