Publisher's Synopsis
This text gives a picture of how a wide variety of geometrical ideas can be explored with the help of computer programs. It is intended to encourage those with little experience or confidence in computer programming to use the microcomputer as an investigative tool. All the ideas have been explored and discussed with teachers and their pupils and with students of mathematics. Programs in the text are written in simple BASIC, suitable for running on the BBC Master and Electron micros. The programs are carefully designed for easy conversion to run on other common micros, and similar, sample programs are also included.
