Church and Society were informally invited, De cember, 1858, by one of their number, to meet at the house of Deacon Charles Scudder, to confer with regard to a celebration of the twenty-fifth Anniversary of the Pastor's Settlement.
At this meeting, various Committees were appointed to make suitable arrangements for a celebration.
