Anticipated putting in print this collection of poems, some of which were written by request, thus getting them in convenient form, and to dedicate the same to the fond memory of my dear departed parents, and to the sacred home not less dear because of the nearly fifty years since the good-bye was given to those left behind. The object of this book is principally to perpetuate the memory of dear departed friends.
