Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Mechano-Therapeutics in General Practice
The main reason for the indifference on the part of medical men with regard to this important adjuvant in therapy is probably their ignorance of it, which is largely due to the fact that' this subject is not compulsory in the curriculum, and is altogether neglected by the medical schools. So that if there is any knowledge of it among the profession in general, it is only owing to the industry and pluck of a few individuals who freed themselves from the theories.
