Me and My Economy

For genuine progress and growth, out of the box thinking is important, especially in the present times, when things are happening, as well as changing very fast; and here, perhaps, is the most significant suggestion that Economy should be given its due : It should be regarded above All in our studies, behaviour, planning, government, society, etc., etc., etc.,-ably presented by a veteran educationist, economist by training, and thinker. Like Amartya Sen, who gave the theory of welfare Economics, or more recently by (now late) C.K. Prahlad, whose best seller 'Fortune at the Bottom of the Pyramid' is presently changing business behaviour in the world in a big way ; or Gary Hamel, who coined the immediately accepted term 'Core Competence' in an article in 1990. Veena Verma, a former Principal (Directorate of Education) Delhi Administration, does the same this intelligently, as well as passionately written small book ??? which deserve immediately attention of all those concerned. She also provides a plan of how this can be fruitfully done. In fact, her theory sounds to be more basic and more needed, than all other economic theories of the past; therefore, adopt it as soon as you can.
