Publisher's Synopsis
As happily married men (not to each other), we have come to appreciate the true power that communication has in a romantic relationship. All couples communicate differently and there is no "one size fits all" approach that guarantees a successful marriage or other romantic relationship. We have heard far to many people express disdain about their partner's "nagging" or lack of assistance with childcare, household chores, finances.... etc. You name it and we have heard it.
Over the course of several years, we have interviewed literally thousands of couples and it seems to us that the major downfall most couples face boils down to an inability to effectively communicate their needs and desires to each other. Our desire to help others overcome relationship obstacles and reignite that "first-date flame" served as the inspiration for this book.
