Publisher's Synopsis
This book presents the problems from the series of math competitions called Math Bowls that took place from 2017 to 2019 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. All problems come with detailed solutions and are organized in separate chapters. The majority of the problems are original and were specifically created by the author to cover topics in school geometry, algebra, and precalculus. Some of the problems also cover areas of mathematics such as number theory and combinatorics, which typically receive little attention in high school classrooms. The book also includes the rules of Math Bowls, theorems, properties, and formulas most frequently used in Math Bowls competitions, a chapter on how to train for Math Bowls, and a chapter containing a mock test with full solutions.
