This book teaches you how to convert short texts to lists so that you can memorize them much more easily. It also shows various skills and techniques you can use to memorize lists of items. We are going to use mnemonics to facilitate the process of memory recall. To help in the memorization of short texts, the texts are first broken down into small chunks, and then each chunk is numbered and memorized by repetition and reinforcement.
After reading the book, we would like to advise you to effectively and efficiently use these mnemonic methods to rapidly memorize verses, definitions, long words, lists, short texts, and various pieces of information and data. When you master these skills and techniques, you will be more confident when you are faced with difficult texts and lists to memorize.
Let us now look at the peg systems we are going to use. They are based on mnemonics. A peg system utilizes numbers or peg words to store text, information or data sequentially in memory. This effectively precludes the occurrence of gaps in the recollection of what has been stored in memory.
