Publisher's Synopsis
It had been a particularly hot summer in Ferrell Michigan but not an unusual one. Most people on the street went about their days, and while some may have been struggling with the dullness of the town, there was nothing particularly unordinary up until one fateful evening on one cul-de-sac. All the people who resided on this particular cul-de-sac were relatively normal except for one house. In this house lived a young woman and her mother. This young lady hadn't lived an easy life for she had endured years of physical and emotional abuse. The most particularly nasty abuse she received from her father, but he had been gone for several years at this point. Still, her mother was one of the, if not most, manipulative beings she knew...at least, until that evening. For years she internalized the repeated trauma that she received from her father, her mother, and peers. Slowly it built within her and without any outlet to release it, she continued to stockpile it. Until now. Because on this particularly hot evening, in this particular, seemingly normal suburb, the young lady's mother will push her too far and when she snaps an unwelcomed visitor introduces itself.
