Publisher's Synopsis
The current economic system -inside and outside of Mexico- is extremely dynamic, it may even seem impossible to have a single fixed set of norms to regulate it. However, even though the systematization of economic laws in constant evolution, it is necessary to guarantee equity, efficiency, and better use of public resources; a responsibility that the economic law takes charge for, which handles both national and international demands. The author displays the base of this legal branch, analyzes its current regulation, and explains its intervention in each of the areas that it covers; such as: economic competition, consumer protection, public procurement, metrology, transparency, foreign investment, intellectual property, telecommunications, and energy law.
