All cultures reflect variations of the mandala such as seen in the architecture of temples churches and sacred places in sacred dances mystery plays in magic sand circles as well as in paintings. The entire expression of a Mandala refers to invisible and abstract dimensions where the human experiences of being and intuition merge. In this way the Mandala makes something that is otherwise inexpressible manifest to the outer senses.
