About Author : Prof. Raj Kumar Sen is Former President of the Bangiya Arthaniti Parishad (Bengal Economic Association) and Managing Editor, Arthabeeekshan (Quarterly Referred Journal of the Parishad). He is Professor of Economics, Rabindra Bharati Univeristy, Kolkta. He is also the Managing Trustee of the International Institute for Development Studies (IIDS). Prof. Asis Dasgupta is Former Vice-President of the Bangiya Arthaniti Parishad and Former Managing Editor, Arthabeekshan. He was Professor of Economics, Presidency College, Kolkata and was Visiting Professor of Economics, Burdwan and Rabindra Bharati Universities.
