Carcinoma of the vulva is a relatively rare tumour in women, representing 4% of all gynaecological malignancies. However, there has been an absolute increase in incidence in recent years, and the first onset of the disease now occurs at an earlier age than previously. In addition, premalignant changes of the vulva are now seen in younger and younger women. This may be connected with the spread of HPV viruses.;This book reviews the relevant update situation in biology, diagnostics and the various possibilities of treating this malignancy.
