Chelsea is a microbiologist, hanging onto a romantic relationship that flickered out months ago. Tanner is an artist who has chased after romance most of his life yet still hasn't found The One. Miles apart on Christmas Eve, they puzzle over matching vintage Christmas cards and the extravagant candy canes gifted to each of them by a mysterious and delightful old man named Imy. When Chelsea and Tanner suddenly appear on the card aisle of Langley's Department Store on Christmas Eve, 1952, they have no idea what's happening or how to get back home. Fearing they could have altered history, the couple scrambles to undo the damage they set in motion, and during the course of one enchanting day, they discover the magic in the cards.
