Publisher's Synopsis
This directory of training courses is based on the PICKUP (Professional Industrial and Commercial Updating) programme, a DES initiative, and compiled by Guildford Educational Services Ltd. It lists 15,000 work-related short (up to one year in length) courses, providing the reader with a range of subjects to choose from. Organized by subject area, it is sub-divided by geographical location within each subject area. This allows the reader to locate the type of course they are looking for and the location of a selection of the most appropriate courses. Each entry lists the course title, training provided, target clients, client level, course level, entry qualifications, features, award, study mode, course length, location, cost, start dates, minimum and maximum numbers, contact, address and telephone number.
