Publisher's Synopsis
As dawn is rising over the Amazon Rainforest, two Macaws named Mac and Caw are disturbed by loud noises from the canopy below them, so they decide to fly down and investigate. They see Howler Monkey, Spider Monkey, and Golden Lion Tamarin, who explain that they had been woken by noises coming from the edge of the rainforest. They all go off to investigate to find out what causing all the noise. When they reach the edge of the rainforest, they find men chopping down trees. Upset by what they see they go in search of Sloth, Capybara and Tapir. Mac, Caw, the monkeys, Sloth, Tapir and Capybara put their heads together to decide what to do. In the end, they decide to keep each other informed so they can stay safe in case the humans come any closer and destroy more of the Amazon Rainforest.
