This book was written to encourage and help believers to have and develop their own personal relationship and encounters with the Holy Spirit daily as a person. It is possible to know and have a one on one relationship with the Holy Spirit other than just speaking in tongues and moving in the gifts of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a person and He desires to have a relationship with all of God's children. He has feelings and emotions just like us, and we can grieve Him when we ignore Him and live outside of the will of God for our lives.
