He had previously made Himself known solely to a family of people, the nation Israel but has finally made Himself available for all who will genuinely seek Him. He is set to restore His rule over the earth through man. This earthly dominion was given to man at creation but a rebellious creation who became the enemy of God's creations tricked man out of his heritage. It was this rule over the earth through man that Jesus referred to as the Kingdom of God. After His departure, the followers of Jesus became the custodians of this Kingdom on earth and they made it available to as many as they came in contact with, that is those who received the Good News they proclaimed. Subsequently, the Church became the channel of showcasing the Kingdom through the Gospel they preach. However, with time, the same dark force (enemy of God's creation) often finds a way of corrupting some of these human Kingdom channels by infiltrating the groups that make themselves available for him through human weakness. It has become obvious today that many Church groups have lost focus of what they are called to be while many are not even aware of the divine purpose.
