It all happened in October of 2014 and suddenly everything changed and things as Sam knew them, would never be the same again. After suffering a series of strokes that wiped out equilibrium and some speech, Sam was left to depend on the walker and wheelchair for mobility. Before the strokes, he used to type proficiently. So as part of his occupational therapy, he was to continually practice typing. When he was released from hospital several months later, why not practice by writing the book about "Mic n' Sal" as he was always being encouraged to do? So, then it began as a few pages at a time, and after about four years, "Mic n' Sal," "the Italians" grew to include their many adventures, and now we have a book with some of their most memorable adventures and ghastly stupidities. The adventures, with all the thrills and excitement began for a couple of adventurous guys during the mid sixties to mid to late seventies.
