Dee, a proud mother, takes her well-behaved daughter Shawna to the grocery store, where Shawna picks out a Barbie and a new outfit. When they get home, Dee prepares dinner while Shawna plays. Bruce, Dee's husband, comes home to eat dinner with the family, but Bruce's phone keeps ringing, and Dee feels suspicious. After dinner, a woman named Yasmine arrives at their house, arguing with Bruce. Yasmine reveals that she has a child with Bruce, named Bruce Jr. and that Bruce has been neglecting them. Dee is shocked and furious. Yasmine and Dee exchange insults and Bruce tries to diffuse the situation. Yasmine eventually leaves, but not before leaving Bruce Jr. with Bruce, claiming she can't take care of him. Dee is left reeling from the revelation of Bruce's infidelity and the existence of his outside child.
