Publisher's Synopsis
Loss of Sovereignty: Mexico and the Cartel Crisis on America's Border
By Lieutenant Colonel Robin Crumpler, Infantry, U.S. Army (Retired)
The cartels aren't just at our doorstep-they're inside the house.
In this explosive and unflinching exposé, retired U.S. Army Infantry officer Robin Crumpler takes readers behind the headlines and into the warzone straddling America's southern border. Loss of Sovereignty reveals how Mexican drug cartels-empowered by billions in drug, weapons, and human smuggling revenues-have transformed from shadowy gangs into sophisticated insurgent forces with regional control over vast parts of Mexico.
Drawing on prior experience and public data, Crumpler exposes the real story behind:
The rise of fentanyl as a chemical weapon with 100,000+ American deaths a year
The economic engine of cartel crime, from NAFTA loopholes to TikTok recruitment
How U.S. border security and immigration policy are being exploited in plain sight
The corruption of Mexican institutions, including a powerful chapter on Mexican presidential compromise
Why designation as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) is a necessary shift in U.S. doctrine
This book doesn't pull punches. It names names. It calls out failure. And it offers bold solutions that challenge political timidity on both sides of the border.
If you're seeking the truth about the U.S.-Mexico border crisis, the fentanyl epidemic, and the war against drug cartels, Loss of Sovereignty is essential reading-whether you're in law enforcement, national security, or just want to understand what's really happening to America's front line.
