Look & See Me is a book about thoughts and feelings experienced at the time through an eighteen-year-old boy growing up in Australia but wishing to be elsewhere. We follow his journey-and thoughts-to America and home again. And only upon returning to Australia does the author find his love for photography, which enables him to share these thoughts and dreams with others in a more tangible medium. This is both a written and visual journey over the years, of loneliness, melancholy, despair, and hope. It takes the reader from an eighteen-year-old boy to an almost sixty-year-old man, through the years, sharing both his poetry and his images.
