Montagu House. River on the east by the Stone Gallery and State Apartments, from the court in the rear of the Banqueting House on the north by the houses of some of the royal servants. As Fisher's plan shows, they were laid out formally enough in Sixteen squares, and were adorned with sundials and with many statues in bronze and marble, of which some were afterwards removed to Hampton Court.
