My name is Lisa Weldon and I am the author of the second book in the Handicapable book series, Lola Goes to School. As we saw in the first book, Lola is infatuated with anything to do with the princess theme. However, don't let that quality fool you. While sitting in her "princess mobile," she is sassy and spunky enough to stand up for herself and her friends. In this book, the main character Lola, along with three other children with special needs, courageously confront a group of bullies. The idea of this book is to show, that understanding and respecting each other's differences is possible and can have positive results.
