Publisher's Synopsis
This symposium was aimed at bringing up to date current knowledge in the field of lipids and health, to permit an exchange of ideas and to establish a base for the development of strategies in dietary prevention in the fields of cancer and cardio-vascular diseases. Specialists were invited from the field of lipids and cancer as well as the field of lipids nad cardiovascular diseases. They agreed to give a syntheses of the latest discoveries concerning these subjects, resulting in the topics listed hereunder, to include the epidemiological and experimental aspects, dietary profiles and alternatives in dietary behavior.
