Where such claims exceed the level of cover provided for by the firm's professional indemnity insurance, the personal assets of the partners themselves are placed at risk.;This work explores the two principal methods by which partnerships can seek to limit their exposure to this threat, which are either to incorporate or to register offshore as a limited partnership, either in Jersey or the Isle of Man.
