Delilah is over-the-moon, with excitement for the first day of kindergarten. Her new teacher Mr. Smith, has a long day of fun activities planned for his students the first day. He divides his students in four groups of four students which will be their Sleuth Team, to solve classroom mysteries throughout the year. The first day is immediately busy with assigning the groups. Delilah seems to be the leader of her team called the "Sleuth Cat's" - she has three new pals, Avery, Alaina, and Hayden, who won the first mystery when Mr. Smith gave his students a set of clues to solve for what type of animal the clues described, which little did the detectives know was to determine what type of animal Mr. Smith had purchased as the new classroom pet. The first day of Kindergarten is filled with surprises.
