I am Charlie, your storyteller, and for forty years I was a Police And Private Detective traveling around in the Midwest and the East Coast of the greatest Country in the world, The United States of America! Everyday I was meeting and talking to a lot of people, many were willing to tell me their story of life, the ingredients of making a life for them, one they could live with and be Happy with. This writing is one of a series of short stories about the children of these immigration families; and what they Baked for their life's and what some of the ingredients. The writer looks at life as time travel and each life is Like Baking a Cake, what you put into it is what you get and each person has a taste that is different. Most like where they are in life, for some their Cake was a Box Mix, they just like life as it comes to them. Others have special recipe, one there picked up somewhere from family, friends, education, or experiences in their travel through time.
