This volume in the "Let's discuss" series deals with the problem of pollution. The waste products of modern industrial societies pollute the air we breathe, the water we drink and the food we eat. The author explains how this has come about and analyzes the effects in relation to the main forms of pollution: radiation pollution, pollution caused by industry and agriculture and the pollution of air and water.;The book aims to promote discussion amongst children and it asks the reader to evaluate the enviromnentalists' solutions to the problem.
