Publisher's Synopsis
"Lessons For ALL Ages" is inspired from a glance at our present generation. These lessons are not limited to any generation, but are true throughout all generations. I pray we listen to the "lessons" of life.
I've been watching and witnessing this generation for a long time and just have to say some things I believe will help both young and old people.
One thing is for certain; whatever subject or idea one can bring up, I think about people, but especially young people. When we are godly examples to the younger, we take care of our moral and spiritual lives simultaneously. When we consider all of what is happening in today's time, I cannot help but to think of the young. Young people are dying lost everyday at alarming rates, while many of us go along living our everyday and casual lives. Many of us do not do anything to help young people. We ought to give them a chance; love them for a change. Why? - Because there are plenty of individuals who do not love them, but hate them. Let us accept reality...and actually do something in our power, to "help reality."
Yes, reality is what we live in now, however, we have the power to change our reality. The concerns of our time are not only over the "young," but also the "older" people. So, shortcomings aren't just in the lives of young people, but shortcomings/failures extend from the older people. The older people (not all) have missed something in "rearing" the "young." We have missed the "mark" when it comes to instilling godly values in children. When we miss the "mark" in rearing our children, the children grow up to run wild! The reason I say "rear" and not "raise" a child, is because, we don't raise a child - we raise pigs, cattle, etc. However, we don't raise children, we rear children, that is we take care of and support up to maturity.
We must be there to "train" children on up to maturity. Then and only then, will our work be seen in respectful, hardworking and intelligent individuals who are God-fearing. When this happens, what a WONDERFUL WORLD THIS WOULD BE!
